I went to the airshow in Burnet to attempt some spherical panoramic shots and they turned out well. The only thing that I need to work on is the controller programming.

360 panoramic test shots III
Posted by Phil in PanoDuino, Photography
In this test, visiting the Cathedral of Junk, I turned on the camera’s AEB (Auto Exposure Bracketing) and programmed the Arduino to take three pictures in every position. Enfuse to blend the multiple exposures before stitching. It worked well except where the camera moved when I was walking away during the routine. The auto blend didn’t line up the pictures on the set to the left of the heart. Close enough for now.

Here are my first spherical panoramas. The goal when shooting these was to see if the panoramic mount would work and to learn how to use PTGui with some help from Photoshop.
There are some minor errors that weren’t related to the camera mount and I’ll go back and fix them…someday.
